TO AVOID CROSS CONTAMINATION OR POSSIBLE INFECTION NEVER LET YOUR NEW TATTOO BE TOUCHED WITHOUT CLEAN HANDS

    Products you will need

    Aquaphor - Antibacterial fragrance free soap - Paper towels - Plastic wrap - Tape - Unscented hand lotion

Day 1-2

Take plastic off within 2-4 hours. Clean tattoo with antibacterial fragrance free soap making sure to get the blood plasma off. Pat dry with paper towel. Let skin air out for 5-10 minutes until there is no moisture then apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor. Wrap the tattoo in a new piece of plastic wrap. Repeat this at least 3-5 times a day for the first two days. Use the plastic even when you sleep.

Day 3-4

For the next two days repeat all steps but stop using the plastic wrap.

Day 5-14

After four days stop using the Aquaphor and switch over to an unscented hand lotion. Apply as needed. The skin may start to peel, become flaky, or even scabby… do not pick or scratch. Let everything come off on its own.

 

Wait at least two weeks before submerging your new tattoo in any body of water
